Limited Edition Merchandise

To support this cause, we’ve created something special for you—a limited edition “Bean” shirt. Bean is the adorable dog we’re rehabilitating at my farm, who had a broken leg.

Bean, a little cattle mix puppy, has endured significant hardships. After being badly injured and left to fend for himself, he found refuge in a shelter. We rescued him, ensuring he received the necessary surgeries to restore his leg.

Now, Bean faces another hurdle, and we, as a dog-loving community, are gathering around him in support. The logo, a tribute to Bean’s transformation through compassion and care, symbolizes the profound change a little love can bring into a life.

Meeting Wiggles

Now, let’s dive into the heart of this story. Meet this little Chihuahua with big blue eyes, shaking and fearful in a kennel that seems too large for him. I decided to sit with him and go slow, given his scared demeanor. Chihuahuas are incredibly loyal and often don’t fare well in kennels because they miss their people so much.

The First Encounter

As I approached, I noticed he was trembling and hesitant. I took my time, moving slowly to gain his trust. I brought a blanket and some treats, hoping to make him feel more comfortable. Chihuahuas are known to be one of the breeds that bite the most, so I was a bit nervous. But I stuck to my approach, using body language and small treats to build trust.

Building Trust

Despite his fear, he started responding to the treats and even made eye contact with me. He was really hungry, and it seemed like his hunger was stronger than his fear. Slowly but surely, he started to relax. I continued to give him small pieces of treat, and he started to show signs of trust and comfort.

A Little More About Wiggles

We learned that this little guy, who we later nicknamed Wiggles, was brought in by animal control as a stray. He had no collar and no microchip, which made it challenging to track his history. Despite his fear, he showed signs of wanting to connect and receive love.

The Name Wiggles

One of our viewers had suggested the name Wiggles, and it seemed perfect for him. Wiggles responded positively when I called him a good boy, and it felt like he was starting to believe in the love we were offering.

The Surprise Twist

As we continued our care, we found out that Wiggles had been previously adopted and then got loose. He was recognized by multiple people and, after some investigative work, we confirmed that he was indeed a dog named Louie. His owners had been frantically searching for him, and it turns out he had just wiggled loose and ended up as a stray.

A Happy Ending

In an emotional turn of events, we were able to reunite Wiggles (or Louie) with his family. He had been out for a while, which explained why he was so hungry. The joy of reuniting a lost pet with their family is indescribable. It’s always our goal to reunite lost pets with their families, and this story had the happiest ending we could hope for.
