Meet Mormont, a big-hearted, teddy bear of a Great Pyrenees who exudes the quiet wisdom of an old soul. Estimated to be born around December 2014, this senior boy has endured more than his share of hardship, but he’s never lost his gentle spirit. With his calm demeanor and soulful eyes, Mormont moves at his own pace, savoring every step, every belly rub, and every kind word. He’s a leaner—literally—pressing into his humans for affection and soaking up all the love he’s waited so long to receive.

Mormont is a friend to all: dogs, cats, kids, and even strangers. He especially adores his tiny Chihuahua foster sister and lets her clamber all over him with patience and grace. While his age gives him a wise and mellow nature, he still has energy to play and enjoys leashed walks and backyard fun. Though house training is still a work in progress, this sweet boy is eager to please and simply needs a patient home willing to guide him with kindness. Meet Beethoven, a 5-year-old Saint Bernard mix who has overcome incredible odds and is now searching for the loving home he deserves. Weighing in at a healthy 126 pounds, this gentle giant recently arrived in Pennsylvania from the South, ready to leave behind a difficult past and begin a new chapter. Beethoven came into rescue with an injured paw (now healed), survived heartworm treatment, and bravely battled IMHA. He’s now off all medication, feeling great, and starting to show his true, affectionate personality!

Beethoven adores people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs, though he hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He’s playful, loving, and absolutely adores scratches—he doesn’t quite realize his size and will happily climb onto your lap for affection. True to his breed, he can be a bit stubborn and is currently working on minor resource guarding behaviors, which have already improved since stopping his medication. He walks well on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Severely malnourished when rescued, Bruce had to start from scratch—learning how to eat from a bowl, play with toys, and interact with other dogs. But thanks to the love and dedication of his foster team, he’s made amazing progress and is now ready for a forever home.

Bruce is still very much a big puppy—playful, curious, and eager to learn, but he needs structure and continued training to reach his full potential. He is dog-friendly with proper introductions, and would do best in a home with teenagers or mature children due to his size and strength. Once a stray, Puff has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and easygoing pup who thrives on companionship. She’s the ultimate velcro dog—quiet, calm, and always happy to be by your side. Puff enjoys car rides and outings to places like Home Depot and outdoor restaurants, where she’s excited to meet new people (especially kids—though she prefers toddlers approach slowly).

This sweet girl gets along well with other dogs, especially polite, playful male pups, and she’s even comfortable around cats—both indoor and outdoor! Puff walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys outdoor strolls with her humans. She does need a secure 6-foot privacy fence due to her impressive leaping ability. She’s housebroken, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.
