Meet Mormont, a big-hearted, teddy bear of a Great Pyrenees who exudes the quiet wisdom of an old soul. Estimated to be born around December 2014, this senior boy has endured more than his share of hardship, but he’s never lost his gentle spirit. With his calm demeanor and soulful eyes, Mormont moves at his own pace, savoring every step, every belly rub, and every kind word. He’s a leaner—literally—pressing into his humans for affection and soaking up all the love he’s waited so long to receive.
Mormont is a friend to all: dogs, cats, kids, and even strangers. He especially adores his tiny Chihuahua foster sister and lets her clamber all over him with patience and grace. While his age gives him a wise and mellow nature, he still has energy to play and enjoys leashed walks and backyard fun. Though house training is still a work in progress, this sweet boy is eager to please and simply needs a patient home willing to guide him with kindness.
