Dogs’ Hilarious Review of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Will Leave You In Tears
Let’s start things off with two truths.
One, there’s nothing quite like the taste of ice cream. And two, our canine friends’ love for this sinfully delicious frozen treat knows no bounds.
Rocky Kanaka acknowledges the second truth, so much so that he put his three lovely dogs — Kobie, Flip, and Zoey — to the test by giving them an opportunity to unofficially review two Ben & Jerry’s Doggie Ice Cream flavors: the peanut butter with pretzel pieces and the pumpkin with mini cookies flavor. (watch full video above)
Fair warning: You won’t resist the temptation to treat your pup to doggie ice cream right away after this review.
Now, move over, Gordon Ramsay. Let’s make way for these three ice cream aficionados as they prepare to give their ex-pawt verdict on which flavor deserves an Oscar.
#Kobie Goes First…..
Kobie quickly gets up from his lying position the moment his nose catches the enticing smell of the frozen goodies. He casually walks to where the two ice cream flavors are and dives tongue-first into the pumpkin and mini cookies cup.
After a couple of enthusiastic licks (which makes the ice cream cup flip over), he shifts his focus to the peanut butter and pretzel flavor. Kobie mercilessly devours this flavor, and with every lick, his taste buds crave more. By the time he’s submitting his review, what’s left of the peanut butter and pretzel ice cream is a quantity small enough to be finished in one lick.
Then comes the much-awaited verdict, which Kobie issues in the form of a loud belch: 10/10 minus nothing for the peanut butter and pretzel!
#Next on Line is Flip……
Flip wastes no time when he receives the green light to pamper his taste buds with the two ice cream flavors in front of him. He goes right for the Peanut Butter and Pretzels and, after a couple of licks, switches to the pumpkin and mini cookies flavor.
You can tell he’s pleased with his move by how passionately he gobbles down the pumpkin-cookies goodness. Flip knows well enough that for it to count as a solid review, he has to finish up that which he considers his favorite between the two ice cream flavors. And he does exactly that. By the time he’s done, the pumpkin and mini cookies ice cream cup looks brand new on the inside.
Flip’s verdict: 10/10 minus nothing for the pumpkin and mini cookies flavor!
#Last Goes Zoey…….
Zoey appears disinterested in the two cups of ice cream in front of her. She stares at them for a couple of seconds, throws a few sniffs here and there, and then, in true Zoey fashion, walks away. Safe to say, we just might have found a Guinness World Record holder for the first dog ever in history to turn down a drool-worthy dessert like doggie ice cream.
Zoey’s verdict: Can we reschedule this review, please?
A round of a-paws for Kobie, Flip, and Zoey, please? That’s enough, thank you. Now, if you’re having thoughts of spoiling your pup with some ice cream, we highly advise that you go for the one specially formulated for dogs. Unlike ice cream made for human consumption, you can be sure that doggie ice cream contains ingredients that won’t endanger your dog’s health.
