Blind Cane Corso’s Reaction To Eating His First Steak Will Make Your Day
Today was one of those amazing days that remind me why I do what I do. I had the privilege of letting a blind, homeless puppy named Kobe pick out his very own homemade meal. The experience was awesome.
Our culinary adventure began in the vegetable aisle. Kobe, with his keen senses, gravitated towards the blueberries and even developed a surprising fondness for spinach. Next up was the carb selection.
Faced with the choice between rice and potatoes, Kobe confidently went for the rice. But the real treat was yet to come – the protein! Would he go for chicken, salmon, or steak? To my amusement, he eagerly chose the steak!
But before I let him dive into that juicy steak, I wanted to share a bit of Kobe’s touching story with you. Despite appearing big and robust, Kobe is just a 13-week-old pup. He was initially bought from a breeder but was later abandoned by his first owners when they realized the medical challenges he was up against.
The thought of his uncertain fate, possibly ending up in a shelter or even worse, broke my heart. But, thanks to some kind souls and the incredible community around me, we’re ensuring Kobe gets the love and care he deserves.
Being with Kobe and watching him navigate his world has been a joy and a learning experience. And if you ever wonder about the impact of fostering, just look at Kobe’s wagging tail and know that fostering indeed saves lives. If you resonate with our mission and Kobe’s story, do consider joining our cause. Every bit of support truly makes a difference.
