1,500-Day Wait: Can A Sweetheart Pittie Finally Find Some Love?

A Pittie mix called Finn has been on a quest to find someone to adopt him for years. It’s always disheartening to see a sweet dog facing challenges in going to their forever home. But the case of Finn is even more distressing since the amazing dog has been waiting for more than 1500 days.

Finn was taken in by a Los Angeles rescue organization, Wags and Walks Rescue, when he was only six months old. As a puppy, he got a chance to live his life in a loving home after a family adopted him. However, his hopes and dreams crashed when his family returned him back to the shelter after a year.

4-Year Quest For A Forever Home

Since Finn came back to the shelter, he has had little to no interest from adopters. Being at the rescue for over 4 years, he is now 5.5 years old, but he still hopes to find a family that will give him a permanent home. (watch the video below)

In the video shared by @wagsandwalks, it is clear that Finn is a sweet, gentle, and well-trained dog. He has received training at Rosewood K9. As a result, he is a great leash walker and is comfortable with staying in crate. Such an adorable and gentlemanly dog deserves a home to be loved and pampered forever.

Many Instagram users share the same sentiments evidenced by their comments under Finn’s video. Francesca wrote, “His human is out there somewhere. He is too handsome not to be noticed ❤️” Finn’s foster mom also left a comment, saying, “We love Finn SO much! He is a goofy little (big) love bug.”

It’s Time To End The Wait

Finn deserves to find a forever home after 1500 days of waiting. He can come across as a nervous dog upon first meeting him. But once you spend time with him and form a bond, he will not take too long to bring out his goofy personality and become the best companion.

The 80 lbs weighing Finn is large in size, but his energy levels are not too high. As a result, the canine will make a perfect cuddling buddy. At his foster home, he enjoys playing with his foster fur sibling, going on car rides, and walking in the sun.

The rescue hopes to find a parent for him who can be patient with Finn and continue with his training. Moreover, if the family already has a furbaby, that will be a bonus! If you would like to give Finn another shot at happiness, go to Wags and Walks to get more details.
