Gratin, Cafe, Amelia, Johnny Cash, Brenda, and Kenan can’t recall the last time a visitor stopped by their kennel and showered them with attention. What they can recall though, is the countless times they’ve seen potential adopters gushing over other dogs with golden coats, chocolate coats, brindle coats, speckled fur, coats with stunning merle markings, all-white coats……anything but black.
Yet, through it all, their hearts remain just as big, just as desperate-for-love, and just as sweet & loyal as the rest of the “lighter-colored” dogs.
