This Corgi Is Obsessed With Her Cat Sibling & It’s the Sweetest Friendship You’ll See Today

Most people have this idea that cats and dogs can’t be anything more than eternal enemies. That there’s no way cats, as aloof as they are, could be friends with goofy animals like dogs.

Well, we’re here to tell you that it’s all a myth. Just because cats and dogs differ in personality doesn’t mean they’re destined to be rivals. In fact, if we were to create a list of dogs who are literally obsessed with their cat siblings, we know exactly who would take the number one spot: Fiona. (Watch Video Below)

This beautiful Corgi shares a home with her feline sibling, Nori. But to Fiona, Nori isn’t just a housemate. Nori is the love of her life; the center of her existence. Fiona is obsessed with Nori, so much so that she gets sad & restless whenever she’s separated from her. A recent video capturing just how much Fiona adores Nori is melting hearts on the internet, and we have a feeling you’ll replay it a million times.

A Love So Pure

Nothing makes Fiona happier than being around Nori. She follows her feline bestie everywhere, including squeezing her fluffy self inside Nori’s crate just so she can be close to her.

The heart-melting video, posted by their owner, @hammyandolivia, captures Fiona throwing the cutest tantrum when Nori leaves for a vet appointment with her dad. The adorable clip shows Fiona howling repeatedly in the living room, as though announcing that her big heart can’t handle Nori’s absence. She keeps staring and rushing to the door, hoping that Nori would magically disappear.

When Nori & the dad later return home, Fiona’s entire face lights up with joy when she sees them pulling into the driveway.

Fiona couldn’t stop licking Nori’s face when she entered the house, and she made sure she stayed right beside her for the rest of the day. What makes this bond more beautiful to witness is that Fiona doesn’t seem to care that Nori, in true cat fashion, isn’t reciprocating the affection. Being reunited with her feline soulmate was all that mattered to her. And even though Nori appears uninterested, the look of contentment on her face says everything: she secretly adores Fiona.

Honestly, Fiona and Nori are living proof that love doesn’t care about myths or species. It’s possible for dogs to get along with cats, even if the world says otherwise. You’d be surprised to know that there several cat-friendly dog breeds that would be more than happy to share a home with a cat.

Internet All Smiles

People can’t stop gushing over Fiona & Nori’s beautiful bond in the comments section.

“Oh my goodness, they love each other so much,” one person wrote.

“Fiona can’t be away from Nori. It breaks her heart. Those two need each other,” reads a second comment.

“Aawww, I love that they’re besties. So cute,” another added.
