Pit Bull Pushed Out of Vehicle Was Lost & Alone Until Kind Strangers Showed Compassion
Shuggie an an adorable pit bull mix, was dumped on the side of the road after her owners pulled over and pushed her out of the car, breaking all the promises they made to her about giving her a lifetime of love. It’s heartbreaking to imagine that they had the option of surrendering Shuggie to the shelter but still chose to dump her like garbage. Lucky for Shuggie, a good Samaritan witnessed her reckless abandonment and felt compelled to rescue her.
Broken, But Not too Broken to Love Again
Shuggie’s rescuer took her to the Humane Society of Broward County, where she’s slowly picking up the pieces of her broken heart.
Although her humans’ betrayal left her emotionally scarred, Shuggie has chosen to rise above her pain. She’s opened her heart to love again and now, more than ever, yearns for a family that will erase all the painful memories of her ordeal. This time around, though, Shuggie has one condition for anyone willing to adopt her: that they’ll remain committed to her forever and never break that promise.

She will chase after other toys but not retrieve them like a tennis ball. She is curious, walks well on a leash and likes to meet new people.
