Neglected & Left to Starve With Her Littermates, This Puppy Is Ready for a Fresh Start

When Dog Gone Seattle Rescue received word about a neglected Doberman Pinscher mother and her nine puppies, the team acted swiftly. The young family, abandoned by their owner and left exposed to harsh outdoor conditions, was struggling to survive.

Among them was 12-week-old Sabrina. A rescue contact found the puppies and their mother fending for themselves without adequate shelter or food. Their owner had disregarded their well-being entirely, leaving them to face starvation. Thankfully, Dog Gone Seattle stepped in just in time, offering Sabrina and her family a critical lifeline and a fresh start.

To New Beginnings

After their arrival at the rescue, Sabrina and her family were placed in foster care as they received the necessary treatment and support to help them recover from their ordeal. Thankfully, Sabrina, just like her other siblings, is now in good health and ready to start afresh in a forever home that will care and adore her for a lifetime.

Although life started on a cruel note for her, she’s hopeful for better days. Sabrina’s counting on you to wipe away all the memories of her pitiful beginnings by offering her the forever kind of love. She yearns — and deserves — to experience what it’s like to be a deeply cherished puppy, and she needs you to make this a reality.

Sabrina Is Searching for a Forever Home

The rescue describes Sabrina as a cuddly, curious, and confident puppy with a personality that lights up the dullest of hearts. She loves exploring, making her an adventure lover at heart.

Although her curiosity may trigger nipping behaviors (as is the case with most puppies), Sabrina is often quick to mend her ways when gently corrected. And we have to add, she’s a joy to train thanks to how fast she grasps commands. Something else that makes Sabrina a gem? She’s good with cats, kids, and other dogs.

Sabrina has made significant progress in her crate training, but she’ll need you to remain dedicated to her potty training and leash training.
