1. Martie: 3-year-old Doodle Mix

At just 3 years old, Martie is ready for a fresh start! This 30 lb. Doodle mix didn’t ask to be in search of a new home, but now that he is, he’s hoping to find the perfect family to match his playful spirit and big heart.
While Martie is a sweetheart, he’s best suited for a home without small kids or cats—his excitement and energy are a little too much for them. He also needs a family that understands he’s a playful pup who sometimes gets a little enthusiastic, especially when it comes to herding instincts like nipping at heels. Learn More
2. Dice: Labrador Retriever Mix

Dice is a Labrador Retriever mix (cattle dog?) who was returned on 1/29/2025. He is just 1 year old and has now been neutered. He is listed as 36-75 lbs and has an adorable black coat with white markings on his chest and legs with black polka-dots! His sweet brown eyes are trying to tell a story. His original owner left notes but they are not specified on his kennel card. You can ask AFV about how he is with kids and other dogs. They also noted that he slept outside, but his most recent adopter said he slept inside.
The Dog Walkers say he is very well-behaved and easy to walk with a leash. He is scared of loud noises like the cars on the street. He is very brave and every walk and interaction shows him relaxing into the routine. He is just a baby with a gentle soul trying to navigate a very loud and scary place! He is sweet and lovable and hoping to meet his Forever Family soon! He just needs a little time, patience, attention and lots of love and I’d guess he will make an amazing Soulmate! Hurry to meet him, fall in love and take him HOME! Learn More
3. Jet: 3-year-old Labrador-Pit Bull Mix

Jet was adopted from Legacy as a puppy and is being returned due to her family relocating overseas and being unable to take her along. She is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs. She needs to be in a home without children due to resource guarding and young kids not understanding when to give space.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. Please stay tuned as we get to know more about Apple/Jet. Learn More
4. Ducky: Beautiful Black Shepherd Mix

Ducky is a very sweet dog. He kept showing up at the same house as a stray. He is great with other dogs, kids, cats, and yes, even ducks and chickens. He looks like a small German Shepherd which is why we brought him into the rescue. He is a little nervous at first but he warms up quickly. Learn More

Remie has spent five years being an amazing mama, but now it’s her turn to be spoiled! 6. Jackie: 7-year-old Shepherd Mix

Jackie’s story is one of quiet heartbreak. This sweet 7-year-old Shepherd mix arrived at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA on January 16, 2025, as a stray. She had a microchip, a sign that she once belonged to someone, but no one ever came to claim her. Now, she waits for a new family to see the love she still has to give.
With her beautiful black and tan coat, frosted face, and warm brown eyes, Jackie carries the distinguished look of a senior who has lived a life filled with stories. She’s a little shy at first, but every day she’s coming out of her shell. And when there are treats involved? Jackie perks right up, ready to impress with her polite demeanor. Learn More
7. Samantha: 6-month-old Sweet Pupper

Meet Samantha! Samantha is a 6-month-old sweetheart weighing in at 50 pounds. She’s the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and calm, quiet charm. Samantha adores snuggles, belly rubs, and being by your side.
While her exact breed is a mystery, our vet suspects she might be a pointer, but we see a lot of hound in her soulful eyes and curious nature. Whatever her lineage, one thing’s for sure—Samantha is a total lovebug who’s ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home. Learn More
8. Tabitha: 4-year-old Chihuahua Mix

Tabitha is a four year-old 7 pound chi mix. Tabi lost her entire world after her owner gave up her and her sister to the local animal control officer as they “no longer wanted them.” Tabitha sat terrified at the shelter. Tabitha was very confused and completely withdrew surrounded by large dogs at the shelter and freezing in her run. BCAA took one look at her sad eyes and knew they had to get her to a foster home where she could relax, be loved, stay warm and learn to trust people (something that appeared to be lacking in her prior home). After a ton of TLC, Tabitha is now ready for her new family.
She adores her foster family, jumping around in excitement when they wake up or walk in the door (and especially when she knows they are going to take her outside for a walk). She is shy around strangers and gives a very soft muffled bark when they come to the door. Tabitha loves belly rubs, treats, and her dog beds. She sleeps great through the night, and loves to cuddle up in her bed during the day. Learn More
