1/27/2025 – We are sorry to report that Dice is back at the shelter after less than 30 days in his adopted home, but we’re not sure why – please ask shelter staff. There is some updated information here:
Dice is a Labrador Retriever mix (cattle dog?) who was returned on 1/29/2025. He is just 1 year old and has now been neutered. He is listed as 36-75 lbs and has an adorable black coat with white markings on his chest and legs with black polka-dots! His sweet brown eyes are trying to tell a story. His original owner left notes but they are not specified on his kennel card. You can ask AFV about how he is with kids and other dogs. They also noted that he slept outside, but his most recent adopter said he slept inside.
The Dog Walkers say he is very well behaved and easy to walk with a leash. He is scared of loud noises like the cars on the street. He is being very brave and every walk and interaction shows him relaxing into the routine. He is just a baby with a gentle soul trying to navigate a very loud and scary place! He is sweet and lovable and hoping to meet his Forever Family soon! He just needs a little time, patience, attention and lots of love and I’d guess he will make an amazing Soul-mate! Hurry to meet him, fall in love and take him HOME!
