HEARTBREAKING: These Were the Only 5 Dogs NOBODY Wanted at Huge Adoption Event
Over the past weekend, Last Hope K9 Rescue in Boston, MA, held an adoption event that saw 21 dogs finding forever families. It was a joyous day filled with happy tears as staff members watched adoptive families embrace their newest canine family members, promising them a lifetime of love.
@lasthopek9 We had such a wonderful event yesterday with 21 dogs finding homes or potential homes. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the day Snowball, Bounce, Pep, Santini, or Teddy met their people. Please consider them. Reminder: You do NOT need to own your own home, live in a single family home, lor have a yard or fence to adopt or foster with us! Residents of Massachusetts can foster with us and residents of #Massachusetts #NewHampshire #Rhodelsland #Connecticut & #Vermont can adopt with us! If your state is not listed, please check out your local shelters and rescues! #fosterdog #rescuedog #adoptable #adopt #rescue #foster #adoptioneventleftovers #dogsthatdidntgetadopted #adoptionevent #event ♬ What Was I Made For – Andrea Vanzo
Unfortunately, five pups weren’t lucky that day. When the event came to an end, Snowball Winter, Bounce, Pep, Santini, and Teddy were loaded back into the rescue van and transported to the place they dreaded most: their kennels. Despite being on their best behavior throughout the event, wagging their tails at everyone in attendance and showing off their best smiles, these gorgeous pups weren’t chosen.
Now, they’re each counting on you to give them the happy ending they witnessed other dogs receive at the event. None of them is asking for much — just a loving family to call their own. Could that be you? Please consider giving them a chance:
1. Snowball Winter

Snowball is a 3-month-old Great Pyrenees with the most snuggle-licious coat ever! She’s a happy-go-lucky puppy who enjoys making new human friends and cherishes playtime. Snowball has made great progress in learning and obeying commands, but she’ll appreciate a family that won’t mind continuing her training. To adopt Snowball Winter, learn more here.
2. Teddy

7-year-old Teddy steals hearts with his big, infectious smile, and we have a feeling it may become your favorite thing about him. This gorgeous Husky is fully crate-trained, house-trained, and walks great on a leash. Teddy will thrive best with an experienced owner who won’t tire of guiding him to the best version of himself. To adopt Teddy, learn more here.
3. Santini

Santini is a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart bursting with love and energy. If she’s not showing you how athletic she is, she’s either sunbathing at her favorite spot or following her humans from room to room. Santini is a smart, well-mannered pup who quickly picks on new commands and loves to please her people. To adopt Santini, learn more here.
4. Bounce

3-year-old Bounce has never met a couch she didn’t like. As a snuggling extraordinaire, this lovable American Pit Bull Terrier would rather snooze on the couch than engage in high-energy activities. Bounce has much more to offer than just looks (let’s be honest, isn’t his brindle coat a MASTERPIECE?). She’s super smart, fully house-trained and crate-trained, and is often eager to learn new tricks.
Bounce is the kind of dog who’ll want you to herself, so that means she’d do well in a home where she’s the only pet. To adopt Bruce, learn more here.
5. Pep

Pup is an easygoing, 3-year-old Blue Heeler who exists to please his humans. He gets along with kids and other dogs, so he’ll happily co-exist with a canine sibling(s). Pep is a well-behaved pup who’s fully crate-trained and house-trained, but he’s working on his leash manners. He can’t wait to have an awesome forever best friend like you. To adopt Pep, learn more here.
