Desperate Shelter Husky Jumps & Howls In Sadness While Watching Another Dog Get Adopted
It’s hard to remain emotionally still when everyone around you seems to be receiving the very same breakthrough that you’ve been waiting on for ages. Kelly — a delightful Husky Mix currently at Pet Rescue Solutions in South El Monte, California — knows this too well. Kenny is a weary soul weighed down by his prolonged desperation for a forever home. He’s been a resident at Pet Rescue Solutions for two good years now, making him one of the shelter’s longest residents. All he craves is to be out of the shelter for good.
When Will My Time Come?
Throughout his stay at the shelter, Kenny has been reduced to a mere spectator to other dogs’ happy endings. All he constantly sees is dogs, particularly those who came to the shelter after him, excitedly leaving their kennels with their new families. Kenny doesn’t understand why nobody has committed to taking him home, yet he’s just as fabulous as the other shelter pups around him.
Just recently, Kenny’s desperation got the best of him, and he let everyone know what he truly wants: to be a part of a loving family that will treasure him forever.
In a touching clip posted to TikTok by @PetRescueSolutions, Kenny is seen jumping and howling in his kennel as he watches a dog in the opposite kennel get adopted. It’s evident that he simply wanted one of the visitors to take notice of him and give him a chance.
Unfortunately for Kenny, things didn’t work out as he hoped. He’s still waiting for someone to fall in life with him and end his stay at the shelter, and until this happens, his desperation will only continue to grow deeper.
