Willow, a sweet and playful one-year-old, was brought to the shelter for safety after being found as a stray — and it’s hard to believe she was never claimed. When she arrived, her fur was a tangled 10-inch mess, dyed in shades of pink and blue. Now, after a much-needed haircut, Willow’s joyful personality shines through. She’s thriving and ready to find a loving home where her gentle, affectionate nature can be fully appreciated.
This lovable pup has albinism, meaning her skin and eyes lack melanin, making her sensitive to sunlight. Luckily, the Northwest’s cooler months provide some natural protection, but during sunnier seasons, Willow will need sunscreen for her nose, special goggles, and a jacket during walks. Despite these precautions, Willow is a healthy, happy dog who loves to cuddle, play with her toys, and socialize with other dogs. Whether she’s being brushed or simply enjoying a chat with her humans, Willow’s easygoing charm makes her the perfect companion.
Adopting Willow:
Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup. The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Willow has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble instead of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition. Willow has a $550.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link. Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.
