Putting the “c” into cuddly is tenderhearted 2-year-old Patty. At a trim 25 pounds, she’s the undisputed queen of cuddles in her foster home, easygoing and calm, happily giving kisses to everyone the moment she meets them. Sweetly social, she loves resting her head on her foster mom, showing her paw for more loving, and engaging with her doggy foster friends of various sizes, learning about toy sharing along the way. She also loves going for walks, walking well on leash, chewing bones and playing with toys, especially stuffed animals and destuffed carcasses, and snacking on any sort of treat. While Patty presently knows no commands, she’s motivated by food, toys and love, should prove easy to teach, is never crated and is diligently at work on her house-training. Now all Patty needs is a loving home without cats, perhaps with another playful pup, to continue her socialization, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her cozily cuddled fur-ever.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).

If you and the dog are a good match then we’ll connect you with our dog’s foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants’ dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We’ll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is $450. Our adoption fee covers the following:

Spay/neuter

Microchip

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. 

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.

Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.
