Meet Paisley, a 1-year-old, 24-pound (and growing!) Pembroke Corgi who’s looking for a fresh start. This compact cutie was surrendered to a shelter due to resource guarding around food and high-value treats. Since arriving in Minnesota on March 15, her foster family has started to learn more about her personality and needs, and her bio will be updated as we go!
Paisley is a smart and spirited pup with boundless energy and plenty of potential—but she needs the right home to help her shine. She reacts to fast movements and shoes near her crate, suggesting she may have experienced stress or fear in her previous environment. Because of this, she’s looking for an adopter with training or behavioral experience who can guide her with patience and consistency.
She’s currently doing well with potty training in her Kentucky foster home and is showing just how clever she can be. Paisley would thrive with space to run and play, plus a family committed to helping her with crate training, obedience, and continued socialization.
