I am a quiet, cautious little lady, and my foster mom likes to call me Monica, or Nikki. I was skeptical of her and foster dad for the first few weeks at their house. I had just come from living my life in a small dark cage, so this big bright world with no apparent ceilings was quite a shock to me. But after a few weeks, I figured out that foster mom always cuddles with and loves on me, while foster dad comes home around dinner time with all kinds of tasty treats; like chicken, burger, sausage and/or bacon. He is quite the meat dispensing machine!
I live with their four resident small dogs but I like Arthur, their little old Maltese, the most. He is very quiet and shy, like me, so I try to play with him, which he wants nothing of, so my foster mom calls him my boyfriend. Ha, ha, mom, very funny, I don’t need a silly boyfriend!
I sleep in my kennel, where it’s nice and quiet and I feel safe. I hold my potty until I’m set out in the backyard to do my business. I’ve been spending my afternoons outside with my roommates and learning all about this strange new world. 🙂
