Lucy Belle, a pint-sized bundle of energy, is estimated to be about one year old and weighs just 5.6 pounds. Though tiny in stature, her personality is anything but small. This spunky young pup is still learning the ropes of good manners, but she’s making fantastic progress with potty training and leash walking — especially when using a harness to keep pressure off her neck.
However, don’t let her size fool you. Lucy Belle loves to dig and can slip through even the smallest gaps. A fully secured fence is non-negotiable for this adventurous escape artist. She thrives in environments where her human can accompany her outdoors and keep a close eye on her explorations.
Lucy Belle is bursting with energy and isn’t afraid to let you know it. She’s vocal, playful, and eager for attention, making her best suited for a family with patience, consistency, and a love for active dogs. While she could do well as an only dog, she’d need plenty of social time to stay happy. Ideally, she’d love a home with another playful, smaller dog to match her feisty spirit. Daily visits to the dog park and regular walks keep her stimulated and engaged.
When it comes to people, Lucy Belle is a sweetheart. She loves everyone she meets — including respectful children — and does fine with cats, though she may be a bit curious. Her playful energy might be too much for older dogs, but she’s easily distracted by toys and a good game of fetch.
Lucy Belle is housebroken, crate-trained, and adores cuddling. While she’ll tolerate being crated when her family isn’t home, she much prefers snuggling up in bed at night. She’s also recently been groomed and did well, though she’s still getting used to having her face groomed — squirming but never showing signs of aggression.
