Meet Marina, the most mild-mannered stoic puppy to ever grace the land. If you’re looking for a wise beyond her years (well actually months) dog, this is your girl. Marina is a 14 week old Cattle Dog / Great Pyrenees mix. We have the DNA. This is a stellar breed combination if we do say so ourselves. She’ll cap out at 50-60lbs full grown if we take an educated guess (currently she weighs 19lbs).

Marina recently joined the party pack in Arroyo Grande. It was like taking an introverted bookworm and throwing her into a frat party. She needed a minute…more like 24 hours. The resident dogs and Sandy were trying every trick in the book to try to get her to play. Groveling at her feet with toys, sharing treats, dragging her blankets, it was cute to watch but Marina wasn’t amused.

Fast forward 24-hours and it’s clear she is super loyal, affectionate, and there’s even a playful side in there. She’s following the big dogs around now, wagging her tail and engaging in puppy stance and wrestling matches. She is just so gentle (even when she plays) and for that we know she’d make a great family dog. She is very sweet with the resident 7-year-old human who makes a lot of noise and random movements. Marina is unfazed and approaches her often with a wagging tail looking for pets and affection. Marina walks well on leash and sticks close to her human at all times, not in a nervous or clingy way, but in a very cattle dog way.

Don’t miss the last of her puppyhood! She should be in a forever home by now. Most of her siblings have moved on. Marina is microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and can go home on a spay contract. She is located in Arroyo Grande, CA.
