Reba’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but this resilient pup is proof that kindness can change a life. As a pregnant stray in Georgia, she wandered onto a farm searching for safety. She gave birth there, but when the farm owner tried to bring Reba and her babies to a shelter, they were turned away due to overcrowding. Left with no other option, the woman kept them in a crate on her front porch—even through freezing nights—until Lil Rascals Rescue stepped in to save them.

Now, Reba is looking for a forever family that will give her the love and stability she deserves. Estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighing 37 pounds, she is a sweetheart through and through. She adores people (kids included!) and is happiest when cuddling up with someone who loves her back.

What to Know About Reba

🐶 Personality & Training: Reba is a medium-energy girl who is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps through the night. She will politely let you know in the morning when it’s time to go outside.

🎾 Favorite Activities: She loves playing with Kong toys and soaking up affection from her people.

🚗 Learning Curve: She’s still figuring out car rides and leash walking. While she’s calm in the car, she’s hesitant about getting in. Bath time? Not her favorite, but with patience and treats, she’ll learn that it’s not so bad. Because she’s still getting the hang of walking on a leash, a fenced-in yard is recommended.

❤️ Health: Reba is currently heartworm positive and undergoing slow-kill treatment. She can still enjoy her regular activities, and heartworm disease is not contagious to other dogs. Lil Rascals Rescue can provide more information to any potential adopters.
