Home Fur Good’s’ Animal Coordinator Rachel is here to tell you that Jessica is ready for her forever home! Because Jessica isn’t comfortable in the chaos of the shelter, she prefers a quiet kennel in Rachel’s office, where she’s called home for nearly two years (618 days to be exact!).
She came to the shelter on January 24, 2023. Needless to say, Rachel and Jessica have become best buddies. Rachel spends time training Jessica on a regular basis. At seven-years-old, Jessica is a very smart girl and learns quickly.
She’s also very gentle and has shown zero resource guarding. We recommend Jessica be the only pet in her home, but she can have dog friends. She’s high energy, so no babies, but age 5 and up should be fine! One on one, Jessica is super sweet, loving and eager to please.
She will do best in a dog experienced home that will be able to continue her training while providing structure and consistency. Jessica would love a home where she can go on adventures and learn new things and she will give lots of love and kisses in return.
