Meet Hwamok! Her name means “harmony” in Korean, and she’s ready to bring just that into your life. Hwamok is an 8-month-old female Jindo/Welsh Corgi mix, weighing 19 lbs. She was born into a loving foster home in South Korea after her brave mother was rescued from the euthanasia list. After living with a foster family that included teenagers and now other dogs, Hwamok has grown into a smart, high-spirited, and affectionate pup.
Though initially shy, Hwamok warms up quickly and loves attention. She’s playful, especially with other dogs, and adores toys, wood sticks, and food puzzles. Dog parks are her happy place! Hwamok is crate-trained, mostly housetrained (indoors), and does not show aggression, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. She’s also quiet and respectful—rarely barking and happy to share her toys.
What Hwamok Is Working On:
- Outdoor walks can be intimidating, but she’s making progress.
- Car rides are still scary, and she may drool due to nerves.
