Meet Holly, a gentle 4-year-old Corgi who has had a tough start in life and is now looking for a calm, patient forever home where she can truly blossom. While still learning to trust the world around her, Holly is making slow but steady progress thanks to the love and care of her foster family.
🐶 Holly’s Personality & Progress
- Not yet fully house-trained, but consistently uses pee pads.
- Potty training is ongoing due to her discomfort with leashes. She occasionally pees outside when not too overwhelmed.
- Walks on a leash are challenging, as she tends to roll and resist—her foster is experimenting with a harness to help.
- Does very well in her kennel/pen, which is her safe space. She’s calm when left alone or overnight.
- Loves to cuddle with her stuffed animals and finds great comfort in soft toys.
- Good with other dogs and cats — she enjoys observing them and has shown interest in playing.
- Starting to wag her tail and show excitement during daily routines!
- Loves being held in a cozy blanket — it helps her feel safe and loved.
