Meet Happy Henry Beautiful Boy! Henry is so deserving of a loving foster or adopter. He is a happy guy who loves to run and play. He really loves to play in the water. He is dog friendly and would enjoy another dog of equal size and energy, but this is not a requirement.
Henry would be equally happy being the dog of the house and your one and only. He is very human-focused and learns quickly. He would be an excellent dog for taking places as he rides in the car like a gentleman and is good in public.
Rescue Story: Henry was found on the street by a couple as they returned home from dinner. As they pulled over to help him they noticed how thin he was and offered him some of their leftovers. He immediately ate everything and jumped right in their truck. No owners ever came forward and Henry was not microchipped. The couple contacted CLASP for help as they could not keep him due to them already having three large dogs. While Henry was with them, he got along with the other dogs in the home with zero issues. He also never tore anything up and never had accidents in the home.

Crating is his least favorite and we hope to find someone who can let him lounge in a spare room while away from the home rather than crate right away. Then, slowly start working on making him crate-friendly.
