Lana is a young Shepsky mix who narrowly escaped euthanasia due to overcrowding at a local shelter. With no known background and no one showing up to claim her, she was placed on the list—but thankfully, her loving foster stepped in just in time. Her best guess? Lana’s previous family gave up when her escape artist skills proved too much for them.

Now safe and thriving in foster care, Lana is showing her incredible heart and potential. She’s affectionate, eager to learn, and absolutely adores people. She’s doing great with crate training, potty training, and basic commands, but she’ll need a family ready to continue her positive reinforcement and structured leash work. Lana does well with the resident dogs in her foster home and has tested okay with cats—but a slow intro and trial would be best in a multi-pet household.
