Freya is extremely dear to all of us who have been a part of her rescue journey. Freya was rescued from a terrible abuse situation where she was being used as a breeding machine and was kept confined on a hard surface for numerous years. She developed painful pressure sores, which had to be surgically removed.
Once we rescued her, she was spayed, she had soft palette surgery to correct her breathing, we gave her homemade food to clear up hear allergy ridden skin and also made her lose 8 pounds, to date. Freya is in the best shape of her life and is a happy and sweet 41 lb, 5 year old Micro -Bully. She needed so much TLC, but now has a clean bill of health! The employees at the Coral Springs Humane Unit began her care, before Lady Luck Animal Rescue stepped in and our amazing volunteers and Foster Family, showered her with love and showed her what it felt like to be a family member.
Freya’s ideal home will be filled with children to play and snuggle with. She would love a great big yard to exercise in. She is not great at walking on a leash. She’s been through a lot in her life with other dogs approaching her in an inappropriate manner, so it’s understandable. She does well in the home with submissive dogs. She’s a girl, so she’s the boss ♀️ Freya is potty trained.
Freya is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested negative, heartworm tested negative, and is up to date on vaccinations. She is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
