Forrest, nicknamed by staff as a nod to his potential sister Jenny (a reference to Forrest Gump), is a 3-year-old male Labrador Retriever mix at Animal Friends of the Valleys. Forrest had a bit of a different backstory than Jenny – although they were both brought to the shelter the same day, they did not come together, as Forrest was found by Animal Control. It’s clear however that both Jenny and Forrest look extremely similar. Without a known owner and now that it’s been more than 5 days, Forrest is officially available. He is currently on the dog walking program at the shelter and waits for a new forever home.
