Buddy is a 1 yr old, 27 lb. male Schnauzer Mix, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and currently being treated for heartworms by “slow kill” which includes 28 days of antibiotics (Doxycycline) and monthly doses of Advantage Multi (monthly heartworm prevention) until he is eligible for immiticide treatment or until he tests negative, whichever comes first. Buddy was found abandoned in a local park and was unclaimed after being posted on a local Lost Pets site. He is a strong and active dog and will do best with another playful companion or an active owner who will take him on regular walks and who will have a yard for him to play in and time to bring him to obedience training to make him a better pet for life.
