Oakley is a joyful, energetic Goldendoodle who came into rescue as a breeder release. At just over a year old (born 1/11/2024), he’s got that classic puppy energy and a deep love for people. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered before going to his forever home.
Oakley needs a home that can keep up with his enthusiasm for life! He’s best suited for an active household—whether it’s an adventurous family with kids or an individual who loves hiking, walking, or spending time at the beach. Because of his size and energy level, apartment life isn’t for him. A home with a physically fenced-in yard (4 feet or taller) is required so he can safely run and play.
What Oakley Needs
This playful pup would thrive with another large, energetic dog to help show him the ropes. He’s still learning all the basics and will benefit from consistent training, socialization, and lots of patience. He is not suitable for homes with cats, as his energy may be too much for them.
Oakley will benefit from an experienced owner or a professional trainer, especially someone familiar with high-energy breeds. In return, you’ll get an incredibly affectionate, fun-loving companion who just wants to be by your side.
