When Blue Eyed Lola was found, she was little more than a skeleton of the dog she should have been. Starving and struggling to nurse six puppies, Lola had been surviving as a stray—no food, no shelter, just sheer will to keep her babies alive.

Thanks to the rescue that took her in, Lola and her pups finally had a chance. Her puppies thrived, and now Lola is slowly finding her way back to health—body and soul.

This 2-year-old Aussie mix has striking blue eyes and a heart so gentle it will break you a little just to meet her. In her foster home, Lola has shown she’s timid but sweet, and it’s clear she’s spent much of her life trying not to be a burden. Her foster mom says Lola seems to “try to be invisible,” quietly shadowing her person and soaking up affection with gratitude.

But make no mistake—this girl wants to belong. She’s calm, leash-trained, a great car companion, and wonderful with other dogs (always submissive), and even cat-friendly. She’s also close to fully housebroken and learning quickly.

Why Blue Eyed Lola Deserves a Home:
🐾 Aussie mix, ~2 years old, ~45 lbs
🧊 Gorgeous ice-blue eyes
🫶 Timid but affectionate—wants to bond deeply with her person
🐶 Dog- and cat-friendly
🚗 Great in the car and on leash
🏡 Would thrive with someone who can help her build confidence

What Lola needs now is a quiet, loving home—maybe with another kind dog to show her the ropes, or a patient human who can help her continue healing. Someone who will tell her she doesn’t have to disappear anymore. Someone who will remind her that she matters.

If you’re that person, Lola will be your most grateful companion—and her journey from survival to love will be your reward.
