Today, Hendrixโs past is behind him. Heโs fully healed, thriving, and more than ready to find the forever home heโs been waiting so patiently forโa place where he can finally be someoneโs best friend.
Flourishing in Training
After overcoming his medical issues, Hendrix entered a training program where heโs been for over a month, and his trainer, Dani Carter, has nothing but praise for him. โHeโs been boarding and training with me for six weeks, and itโs mind-boggling that he still hasnโt found his forever home,โ Dani shared.

Hendrix is picking up the basics beautifully and, best of all, he genuinely enjoys learning. Heโs an absolute sweetheart who showers affection on everyone he meets. Heโs been tested with men, women, children, and even seniorsโand he behaves perfectly with humans of all ages.
Thatโs why itโs so surprising to the Roadogs team that Hendrix has been waiting over eight months for a home. With his loving nature and easygoing personality, Hendrix would be the perfect addition to any family willing to open their heart and home.
Can You Be The One For Hendrix?

Hendrix isnโt just friendly and affectionate, heโs also a total snuggle bug. If you adopt him, be ready for cozy cuddle sessions on the couch, which happen to be his favorite pastime.
Thanks to his ongoing training, Hendrix will be suited in a home that offers structure and clear boundaries. Heโs eager to learn and does best when he knows whatโs expected of him.
One thing to keep in mind: Hendrix is a great jumper! His trainer, Dani, recommends a home with tall, secure fences to keep this athletic boy safe and sound.

Hendrix can also do well with other dogsโhe just prefers slow, thoughtful introductions to make sure everyone gets off on the right paw.
If you’re ready to give this amazing boy the loving home he deserves, send in an adoption application to Roadogs today.
Pet Rescue Advocate Rocky Kanaka shared a remark about Hendrix, saying, โHendrix is the kind of dog whoโs been through the worst and still chooses love. Heโs loyal, smart, and bursting with affectionโhe just needs someone to give him a chance to shine.โ
