This Mama Dog’s Heart-Shaped Nose is Too Cute — But No One Notices Her at Adoption Events
For Mama Eve — a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier — no day goes by without staff members and volunteers at Mercy Full Project in Tampa, FL, reminding her that her nose is too cute for this world. And if you ask us, we’d say that Mama Eve’s nose deserves to be in a painting. I mean, is there anything ordinary about a nose that’s elegantly shaped like a tiny heart? (Watch Video Below)

Her nose is probably the first thing you’ll notice when you meet this playful mama dog, who was surrendered to Mercy Full Project while pregnant. Mama Eve gave birth to ten puppies shortly after coming to the rescue, and as we speak, almost all her babies have found homes.
What hurts most is that recently, the rescue held an adoption event that saw several dogs go home with their forever families. Sadly, Mama Eve — even with her breathtaking masterpiece of a nose — wasn’t among them. This is the second time Mama Eve has been ignored at an adoption event.
Invisible to Adopters

During the recent adoption event, Mama Eve was ready for all the overwhelming pets her irresistibly beautiful nose would receive. Everyone at the rescue had high hopes that potential adopters would spot it immediately and fight for a chance to take Mama Eve home.
But Mama Eve wasn’t lucky. Not one person crouched down to pet her, and the event came to an end without a single soul showing interest in her. Despite how everything turned out, Mama Eve hasn’t stopped being the goodest girl. She is — in all honesty — a beauty inside out, which is why it’s hard to think of another reason why she’s being overlooked other than the fact that she’s a Pitbull. Is it that people have heard so many myths and negativity surrounding Pitbulls that they can’t dare give Mama Eve a chance?
Truth is, there is nothing about Mama Eve that screams “red flag.” Once you get to know her, you’ll wonder why you didn’t pick her sooner.
Mama Eve Has It All — Will You Be Her Forever Family?
Mama Eve is paws down a full package. Beyond her strikingly cute nose is a dog who loves so fiercely, you’d think it’s her sole mission in life. Let’s just say, Mama Eve’s heart is so big, it had to show up on her nose.

Mama Eve can hold a masterclass on how to snuggle like an expert since it’s her speciality. She’s potty trained, walks great on the leash, doesn’t throw her manners out of the window when she’s about to be given a treat, and has no negative behaviors that she’s trying to work on. In other words, Mama Eve is a walking green flag!
Let’s not even get started on how well she gets along with literally everyone. To Mama Eve, everyone is a potential friend, be it other dogs, strangers, cats, kids, or small pets. Her not-so-hidden talent is playing tug-of-war with the enthusiasm of a puppy and nudging your hand persistently until you scratch her on the right spots.
Mama Eve won’t promise to accompany you for long hikes simply because she isn’t a fan, but you can sign her up for short walks around the block. She is eagerly waiting to meet her forever person — will that be you? To adopt Mama Eve, learn more here.
