Ladi has called an animal shelter home since last fall and wonders if anyone will ever see her. As the months have passed, so have the holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Valentine’s Day—all spent alone in a shelter kennel. Despite the steady stream of visitors, Ladi remains overlooked, her longing for a family growing with each passing day. While other dogs find homes, she continues to wait, hoping for the chance to curl up beside a loving owner.

An Absolute Sweetheart
Ladi, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, is the kind of dog who’ll win you over without trying too hard. There’s just something magical about her deep, wide-eyed gaze that lingers in your heart and mind long after you’ve seen her.
Sweet Ladi may initially appear shy, but that’s because she prefers to silently vet people first before giving them access to her big heart. But don’t be fooled; that shy stage lasts shorter than her name. Once Ladi realizes that you are worthy of a piece of her heart, she’ll really let you in. The tiny spark of affection she shows you at the start will turn into a glowing flame of affection without warning, and the next thing you know, she doesn’t want to leave your side.
Ladi is a fun-loving, playful pup who bursts out into the most joyful zoomies on a random boring afternoon. And the way she gently takes a treat from your hand? You’d think she co-authored a book on canine manners.
