From Years in a Crate to Finally Feeling Safe
When Fig first arrived at the rescue, her little body told the story of years of neglect. She was covered in painful pressure sores and urine scalding: injuries the staff believes came from being confined to a crate for most of her young life.
What’s remarkable, though, is that despite everything she’s endured, Fig’s heart remains wide open. She greets every human she meets with nothing but love and trust, proving just how resilient dogs can be.
Now safe and thriving in a foster home, this sweet Pittie mix is finally learning what it means to be cared for. All she needs now is a forever family to complete her journey to happiness.
