Shelter Dog Finally Got Adopted But Then This Happened…

[Rocky Kanaka] I don’t know what happened to Penny, but, I do know that I have to find out. And I know you probably want to know too. I mean, millions of people saw her video, because, that moment of compassion, where she decided to trust me.

[Rocky Kanaka] It just sticks with you. And, I volunteer at the shelter, but, I’ve been losing sleep at night. And I have been able to get back for a few days because, I just had a new baby boy. And so, I’m trying to balance that. But, I woke up this morning and I knew, that I had to give back to Penny. I can’t promise you’ll be there, but, we will get to the bottom of this and find out Penny’s story.
Kobe, Let’s go! Go! Kobe… He’s blind. It’s not his fault.
Not that one. Oh, no! They could’ve moved her though. They could’ve moved her. So let, let’s go check. But, I don’t, I don’t see her. She’s not on the adoption board, so she hasn’t been adopted. We haven’t located her yet. Her family may have picked her up. Let’s just, let’s keep looking.

Not impressed? But I think you will be! I have my fingers crossed that everything is gonna work out, just the way that it should. She’s gonna get a Puppuccino. She’s gonna get a family that adopts her. And if that happens, we’re gonna take her shopping and buy her everything she touches. So stick around, because, I believe, that that’s going down today.

[Rocky Kanaka] I got a plan. We’re gonna go out to the patio, and that way she’ll know she’s safe. And we’re gonna let her try this puppuccino. Nope, I don’t think she’s interested. She just wants love. Making you jealous? It’s pretty good.
It’s probably her first time ever walking on a leash. See how dart-y she is? But she’s doing pretty good. It’s hard waiting all day. I’m trying to keep myself busy, but, I wanna be here, so that, if someone comes to adopt Penny, I’m here for her. And if someone doesn’t adopt Penny, I’m also here for her.
The thing is, I’m trying to keep myself busy, because the anticipation is just eating me up on the inside. I’ve tried everything. I’ve, I’ve been walking dogs. I’ve sat in the lobby waiting for them, and still nothing! And it’s getting towards the end of the day. And I’m starting to get scared they’re just not gonna come. So now, I’ve resorted to being the Zamboni driver. At least I think it’s the Zamboni.
