Must-Watch: Two Paralyzed Dogs Have Their First Play Date & It’s the Cutest Thing You’ll See Today
If there’s one thing we truly admire about dogs, it’s how resilient they are. This is especially true for paralyzed dogs. These lovely dogs never let their disabilities get in the way of them making the most out of life. When given a chance, a paralyzed dog will quickly prove to you that they have what it takes to live life to the fullest, just like a normal dog. (Watch Video Below)
Even the paralyzed pups that aren’t lucky enough to own a wheelchair will always find their own special ways, like scooting, to explore the world. Though the way a paralyzed dog moves around while having fun may look different from abled dogs, what’s inspiring is that they choose happiness over self-pity every single time.
Recently, the viewers left “aaawwing” after watching a heartwarming video of two paralyzed pups meeting for a playdate for the first time and having a blast together at the dog park. Well, we’re not that good at making correct guesses, but we’re pretty sure this video will leave you smiling from ear to ear.
@diggydagg Tyrion had the best time meeting Luna 💕🐶 And it’s always fun for me to meet other paralyzed dog owners and talk about all the ups, downs, techniques, what works, what doesn’t, etc. Owning a disabled dog can be really difficult but these little reminders that we’re not alone are so incredibly helpful and heartwarming ♥️ #wheelchairdog #dogsoftiktok #paralyzeddog #dogdate ♬ The Kite Luisa Marion – luisa_marion_music
Two Besties in Wheels
One of the dogs is Tyrion, a Maltipoo, and the other is Luna, possibly a Pomeranian mix. Tyrion and Luna’s moms organized a playdate for the two pups, and the scene that unfolded was pure magic. Despite being in wheelchairs, Luna and Tyrion first made sure to fulfill the unspoken meet-and-greet rule of the canine world: sniffing each other.
The video, posted by Tyrion’s mom on her TikTok account @diggydagg, shows the two excited pups giving each other a few curious sniffs here and there while trying to figure out how to proceed with their play date. At first, they simply stared at one another while rolling their wheelchairs close to each other, like two friendly strangers waiting for the other to make the first playful move. And from the video, you can tell they were almost cautious of bumping their wheelchairs into each other so that no one accidentally gets hurt.
Then, after several attempts of playful teasing, their moms decided to try out something different: to get them out of their wheelchairs so they could interact with each other more freely. This, we must admit, took the playdate to a whole new beautiful level.
As soon as their wheelchairs were off, Tyrion and Luna became unstoppable. They immediately began chasing each other across the park while dragging their hind legs on the soft grass with pure enthusiasm; you’d think they’d known each other since forever.
It’s as though the shyness & hesitation that was there in the beginning magically disappeared when their moms took them off the wheelchairs. We must say, watching Tyrion and Luna’s faces light up more with every playful run is adorably beautiful to witness. Even though these two furry cuties don’t understand the concept of paralysis, it’s pretty clear they were both happy to spend time with a pup that uses a wheelchair like them.
Internet in Happy Tears

“This is so wonderful and heartwarming, it’s proof they don’t need to be physically perfect to have happy, healthy, and full lives,” one person wrote.
“Aaaww! They look like they’re having so much fun!! They finally met another dog like them. My heart can’t take it,” another added.
“This healed something in me, omg,” reads a third comment.
