Squidwad was nothing but skin and bones, a heartbreakingly emaciated dog residing in a Los Angeles shelter. His frail body told a story of severe neglect and starvation. Once safe, Squidwad was placed in the care of the rescue’s medical team, where he finally received the attention he so desperately needed. During his checkup, vets noticed he wobbled when he walked — a sign that pointed to a possible neurological condition. `
On the Road To Becoming Stronger
Since arriving at Wags and Walks, Squidwad has been slowly regaining his strength. Despite all the pain and neglect he’s endured, his sweet and gentle nature shines through — a true testament to his resilience. With his courage and continued love and care from the rescue, this wonderful dog will hopefully bounce back.
