This small Cattle dog mix came into the shelter at only 5 months old and was found wandering by a good samaritan. When he came into the shelter, he was not only scared and barked at everyone to keep them away, but also smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Rocky sits with him a bit while he’s on leash to get to know him a bit before recommending he goes to get bathed by Mel due to his strong smell and to help build his confidence. They decide the name “Timmy the timid Cattle dog” would suit him.
When Timmy’s spa day is done, Rocky finds out that more than one person wants him suddenly despite his demeanor, and adopter Rudy ends up coming out victorious by adopting! Rudy kept Timmy’s name, and now he lives in a home surrounded by patience, love, and no added stress of another dog in the home just yet.
