Jax has one of those smiles that doesn’t just show up in photos—it kind of follows him everywhere. This 5-year-old purebred Cavapoo seems to genuinely believe every person he meets might just be his favorite person. And honestly, he acts like it too.

Born 6/18/2019 and weighing just 24 pounds, Jax is a compact little companion with a big heart and an even bigger desire to be close to his humans. He was originally brought into a loving home as a “dog child” alongside his sister Lilly, but life changed for their family, and now he’s looking for a fresh start through Critter Cavalry Rescue.

Why Jax Steals the Spotlight (and Probably Your Heart Too)

🐾 Age: Born 6/18/2019
🐶 Breed: Purebred Cavapoo
⚖️ Weight: 24 pounds
😊 Constant “best smile of the week” energy
🐕 Friendly with other dogs and great with kids
🚶‍♂️ Leash-trained and enjoys neighborhood walks
💛 Social, easygoing, and never meets a stranger

Jax is the definition of a sidekick dog. If you move, he’s curious. If you sit, he’s there. If you grab your keys, he’s already mentally in the car with you.

Errands? He’s in. Walks? Absolutely. Warm evening strolls? That’s his favorite kind of plan.

What Life With Jax Looks Like

🌿 Daily walks and outdoor potty breaks on a schedule
🛋️ Comfortable settling at home without needing constant supervision
🚗 Joining you for errands and everyday adventures
🐾 Being your quiet little shadow throughout the day

He’s well-mannered, smart, and easygoing—more “go with the flow” than “demand the spotlight,” even though his face definitely deserves one.

About His Sister Lilly

Jax would love to be adopted with his sister Lilly (14 lbs), and they do share a bond. That said, they can also be adopted separately and adjust well in homes with other friendly dogs.

The Home He’s Looking For

✔️ A loving person or family who enjoys companionship and daily walks
✔️ Someone who appreciates a social, people-oriented dog
✔️ A home where he can be part of everyday life—not left behind from it
✔️ Optional: a home willing to consider his sister Lilly too

He’s adaptable, affectionate, and ready to fit into a new routine as long as it includes love and consistency.
