UPDATE: Teddy has been ADOPTED by his finders!
This rambunctious 2-year-old male Golden Retriever came in as a stray into Animal Friends of the Valleys when good samaritans found him on their front porch. When Dawn at the front desk says she’d love to take him home if she could, Rocky goes to sit with him, and gets scratched up with how high anxiety the shelter environment makes him. Even worse – the first hold never comes for him and cancels.
Thankfully, right when it seemed like hope was lost, the original couple who found this boy came to adopt him! It looks like they fell in love with him right when he (literally) showed up on their front door. Now named Teddy by his new owners, he is off to a fantastic new start.
