Ted came to the rescue after being pulled from a local rural animal shelter. He has been in the shelter for several months, and as an older guy, he was consistently getting overlooked.
Ted was heartworm positive, and had a tumor in his scrotum that needed to be removed. After several months of medical treatment to rid him of the cancerous tumor, and treat him for heartworms we are pleased to say that Ted is healthy and ready for his forever home.
Ted is such a happy dude! He LOVES to be loved on and will shower the person giving him attention with many kisses. Ted is fostered with other dogs, cats and children, and is wonderful with everyone. He is even well behaved around his foster family’s chickens who roam the backyard. Though, he has been caught sneaking a delicious eggy snack from the chicken coop from time to time. ????
Ted is an older fella, so he is happy to stroll around the yard and nap in the sun, or on a cozy blanket inside. He is especially fond of all things fuzzy and keeps a collection of stuffed toys in his crate that he likes to sleep with. They’re akin to the pile of stuffies at the end of a child’s bed. They make him happy, and he loves to collect them. Ted would make an excellent addition to any home!
