UPDATE: Sticks’ family has been found and she has been returned! She is happy back at home with her family that’s been looking all over for her.
This 12-year-old Corgi mix girl was found as a stray by a good samaritan, right near a hospital they worked at and after trying to find the owner, turned her into the shelter.
Sticks is a senior gal – she’s definitely seen happier days and looks defeated now that she’s abandoned at the shelter. Her kennel mate, Tails, was even adopted, but Sticks still waits for a nice home and family to retire with. Sticks will definitely need time – she is currently on a “go slow” basis at the shelter because she is so distrusting now and needs a family who will be patient and take their time with her.
Even though she has defeat in her demeanor, she is not ready to give up the chance on a brand new life. Sticks is at Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA.
