UPDATE: Star was ADOPTED!
Star is a 2-year-old Pit bull mix that was dumped in night drop and marked as stray. When the shelter contacted the number on the microchip, it turned out that her ‘finders’ were her owners. Without any real reason given, they relinquished ownership of Star, and provided info like how she is good with kids, other dogs, and is already housebroken. Unfortunately, on top of being surrendered by her owners, she came in with a painful leg, and although she is on pain meds, she needs to be examined further by a vet.
