Hi, I’m Josh—a 6-year-old, 5-pound Yorkie with a heart full of love and a body that just needs a little extra care. I have a medical condition called protein-losing enteropathy (PLE), which means I’ll need lifelong management with a special diet, regular B12 injections, and soft food (I don’t have any teeth!). But don’t let that scare you—my foster family says I’m 100% worth it. I may be fragile on the outside, but I’m one of the most devoted snugglers you’ll ever meet.
Why I’m the Ultimate Cuddlebug Companion
🐾 Age: 6 years
🧸 World-class snuggler who LOVES heated blankets and lap time
🦷 Toothless but thriving on tasty prescription wet food
💉 Takes B12 injections like a champ
🐶 Bonds deeply with my person—especially if you’re calm and gentle
🐾 Learns by watching my foster brother (I copy his good and silly habits!)
😴 Naps, cuddles, repeat—that’s my kind of day!
What I’m Looking For
✔️ A calm, quiet adult-only home (kids are just too scary for me)
✔️ A fenced yard—I’m still working on leash training
✔️ A mellow, confident small dog companion to help me feel safe
✔️ Someone patient with crate training and house training
✔️ An adopter who can manage my special medical and dietary needs
I know I come with some extra needs, but I promise I’ll give you my whole heart in return. If you have room in your home—and your lap—for a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be held and loved, then I just might be your forever friend. Come meet me at Chuck & Don’s in Maple Grove on Sunday, July 13th from 12:00–2:00 PM. For questions, email [email protected]—and don’t forget to check your spam folder for replies!
