Shilo is a 2-year-old female Shepherd mix that has come through the shelter multiple times, as this is now her third time at the shelter. The shelter worked with her previous owner to give them their dog back, as it was discovered they were transient. The second time, not only did she find herself at the shelter again, but she had a litter of puppies that also made their way into the shelter separately. Trying to work with the owner, the shelter gave them and all the owners of the puppies a long educational talk and collaborated on a plan to get Shilo spayed and to overall care for her litter. Now that this is the third time and it was discovered Shilo had yet another litter of puppies recently, and she will soon be available for adoption.
Shilo is extremely on edge and nervous, barking out of anxiety and unable to fully relax. She is otherwise friendly and just needs someone to give her reassurance and guidance in order to see her reach her full potential.
