UPDATE 10.23.25: The results are in – BODIE is his name! Bodie is now on Flip’s Farm to behaviorally rehabilitate. Adoption applications are open! However we do ask for patience and understanding as he will need some time to decompress/heal on the farm before deciding on his new forever home.

This Yorkie/Terrier mixed boy is around 4 yrs old and had come into the shelter less than 24 hours before Rocky discovered him. Someone found him due to him wandering onto their property, and after a few days of caring for him until they knew what to do next, he began to nip the other dogs there, but according to the good samaritan, seemed ok with people.
The good samaritan was able to scoop him up to take him into the shelter. Then, once brought in, the Terrier started acting out towards the staff. The staff said when they health checked him the next morning, he avoided them to the point where they had to put a towel over him, which seemed to calm him. Putting a towel or blanket over his head to block his vision seems to help him let down his guard. However, after sitting with him for an hour or so, Rocky was able to scoop this boy into his lap!
Due to not having any known owner, therefore no name that we know of, Rocky and Alexis came up with two names, Sheldon or Bodie, for the audience to pick. Stay tuned to see if this boy goes to Flip’s Farm!
