UPDATE: Shancy has been ADOPTED!
Shancy is a 2-year-old female Poodle mix who arrived on June 2nd and at the time Rocky sat with her, she had been at the shelter for four days. Shancy came in as a stray from Hemet after showing up at the reporting party’s mother’s home and attacking her chickens, with no known owner. Staff noted in the short time she was at the shelter, she appears nervous, and her kennel card is marked “go slow.” She has possible hot spots on her chest and tailbone and is currently being treated with Vetericyn spray.
