Shadow was not quite a year old when we rescued him from euthanasia at the county shelter 12/15/2022. He has been with us way too long and needs help finding his forever family. Shadow is ok with other dogs with proper introduction; however, he is a rough houser. Shadow is a very good boy who know basic commands and is house and kennel trained.
He likes to play tug o war and a little fetch from time to time but will roll over for belly rubs. He is also smart and extremely food motivated so learns quickly for treats. Shadow’s only quirk is a little barrier reactiveness to new people, but once you open the door and remove the barrier that doesn’t happen. Since he is on the rough side, I would suggest a household without small children as he could knock a small child over. Best guess, he is a lab mixed with some chow and a little pittie.
