Serena, nicknamed by Rocky after the park she was found at ‘Serenity Park,’ is a 1 year old female black Shepherd mix. A good samaritan came across Serena and knew she needed help, so they took her to Animal Friends of the Valleys in hopes that an owner would come for her. However, with no microchip and no collar indicating any information regarding an owner, Serena can only wait at the shelter for either her owner to come looking for her, or for a new family to come adopt her.
Serena, at first, was apprehensive and scared to approach Rocky in her kennel, but after some time, melted in his lap and leaned into his pets. Serena is a happy girl and ready for a forever home!
